Use Instructions
For the best performance, soak in very hot water before using for the first time. To achieve best results without streaks, rinse in warm water frequently during the cleaning process and wash thoroughly when the task is completed. The Blue Wonder™ Cloth can be used to wash off any residue built up on windows and mirrors. The cloth should be washed thoroughly during and after this process.
Beware of residues left by previous cleaning solvents or sprays. You may have to wash off the residues up to two to three times. Notice thereafter that the surfaces will stay cleaner much longer.
Although one cloth does it all, for hygienic and practical reasons, we suggest you use one cloth for one particular task or room (i.e. one for the bathroom, one for the kitchen, one for windows and mirrors, one for dusting purposes, etc). Used with the Blue Wonder™ colour coding kit, the cloths can easily be designated for specific tasks or switched from one task to another to prolong usage.
Care Instructions
To clean your cloth, wash by hand using an environmentally friendly detergent or soap (i.e. no bleach, no softeners, and no phosphates). DO NOT PUT IN DRYER! Do not wash with fleecy materials. Never use bleach, softeners, or aggressive cleaners / washing solutions. Never expose this material to dry heat such as a dryer, iron, or hot stovetop. To eliminate or prevent odor, put in very hot water with vinegar for 2-3 minutes.
Your Blue Wonder™ cloth will pick up bacteria. However, the bacteria does not grow or multiply in the cloth. To free the cloth of bacteria place in boiling water for a few minutes.
Attention: As the microfibres pick up everything in their path, avoid caulking on windows (especially older windows) and be careful with water-based painted surfaces. We suggest using a designated cloth for latex/water-based painted surfaces as the bonding agent (glue) will clog the microfibres. If this happens, wash the cloth at least fifteen times in very hot water.
To keep your Blue Wonder™ lasting for years and years, there are a few things to be aware of:
Things not to use your Blue Wonder™ cloth on:
- caulking
- coated stainless steel refrigerators (ones that have been treated)
- painted cracked surfaces
- hot burners
- brand new automobiles with a treated coating (do not wax a vehicle with the cloth)
- hot wax
- oiled woods
- latex walls
Things not to do when cleaning your Blue Wonder™ cloth:
- DO NOT use fabric softeners
- DO NOT use bleech or phosphates
- DO NOT put in the dryer
- DO NOT hang your cloth in direct sunlight to dry for long periods of time
Good to Know Facts:
- When using your Blue Wonder™ on your mirrors for the first few times, you may have window/mirror cleaner on the surface. Make sure to rinse your cloth thoroughly afterwards with hot water to fully remove any residue.
- When using your Blue Wonder™ on surfaces on which any cleaning solvents have been used, until this film is removed, make sure to rinse your cloth with extremely hot water after each application.
- If snags or pulls are apparent in your cloth after using it on sharp surfaces, or from everyday wear and tear, don't panic - the quality of the cloth is not affected. Do not cut the snags, as this will cause holes.
- If your cloth appears to be dirty or grungy looking, you can clean your Blue Wonder™ with a mild detergent (i.e. Sunlight), making sure it is not one with phosphates or bleech. If there is an odor, a cap full of vinegar may be added when cleaning.
